i started wearing a knee brace to help stabilize my left leg this week. i've had it a little while, but haven't worn it. and sometimes it squeaks. i feel a little bionic. hee hee.
On the up side, you could probably sneak prohibited metal items through a metal detector because they would assume it was your brace (like in Dan Brown's Angels and Demons book) :) Hope you're feeling better soon.
